Put the Explorer 2 on Leather

Rarely see this and I think it looks pretty good. Was amazed how easy it is to change straps! Now I want to get more!

looks good I tried a leather strap on my datejust and liked it, 2 weeks later I had 4 bands. Its a slippery slope.

I like it!! At least getting new straps is less expensive than getting new pieces, right?

Enjoy!

i disagree....the explorer ii, too me, is a "tool" watch and pretty sporty, so, that black sport strap looks better without the end-links, which will dress it up too much, IMO.

I usually have mine on a carmel Toshi strap with white stitching but I don't have a pic - it's on a Hirsch Mariner in this pic - doesn't look as good but the black and white's a nice contrast.

Looks good.

The Explorer II looks like it was made for a strap. Also great on a Nato. One of the most versatile models, without a doubt.
