Chicago Area Meetup

Looking for any fellow Rolex fans for a get together. Let's see if Chicago has any love for Rolex
No date or time set just looking for a number of people who might be interested

I would be up for a GTG. I was On clyborn today and went into James and Sons. They had a pretty decent inventory. They even had a blue faced sub. The sales lady asked if I was there for their big event. I asked her what it was, and she told me that they are "absorbing" the sales tax. She received zero reaction from me.

I would be up for checking out the Rolex boutique on Michigan Ave. and Tourneau in water tower. Let me know what date we are talking about.

I was in there also before I saw a TT GMT but it was scratched! I have purchased all of mine thru Tourneau. Let me email my contact @ TWC and see what we can do!

Hey guys I'm interested in a Chicago GTG. Was in James & Sons not to long ago, Sharon is decent to talk to. IMO this place is like a lot of other local AD's very parvenu if your not there to buy a Brand New Rolex. Kinda got the feeling they treated my 16613 as antiquated. But that's another thread!

My brother in law just bought a 214270 from Rolex on Michigan, well it's presented by Tourneau, Natasha was his sale's Rep and she was awesome.

Today is the last day for the Chicago Antique Jewlery & Watch Show. They have a TON of Rolex for sale among many other brands. Me and Tiffany attended on Friday, the opening day of the show and I bought this 1923 Rolex Sterling Silver Trench Watch. Got it for a steal! Also bought a circa 1919 Pavel Buhre with an exploding RED 12 deco dial.

I might go back today, show opens at 11am

I would certainly be interested in a Chicago GTG, make it happen!

I would be interested, but timing would be important to me.

It's a pretty good drive for me, so I would have to see what I could do.

Sunday's could be a possibility for me, would have to be before 1:00pm or after 9:00pm I work afternoons, unless I have that Sunday off. Maybe we can all meet for Coffee at a Starbucks or something?

I can probably make May 20.

The "Rolex Boutique" on Michigan is of course Tournoooo. The other stores in the area, Tournooo CD Peacock etc., all had their Rolexes pulled from the shelves so the boutique can enjoy a little local Mag Mile monopoly. I haven't been to James and Sons yet.

One good thing about the Michigan Ave store is you can also hit Fine Swiss Watches and check out some Glashuttes, etc.

Michigan Ave has a number of different possibilities going both North (Bets) but some South of the Rolex Boutique as well.

The Omega Boutique is a nice store to visit also.
