When I see a Rolex billboard, it's always accompany by the name of an AD.

So I'm curious if Rolex is paying for the billboard or is the AD paying for it? Or both?

I talked to my AD about that and they said that all billboards are paid for by the AD, and that Rolex supplies the actual billboard. All the billboards look the same.

Rolex controls all artwork, but the AD pays for it. Rolex requires them to promote the brand based on there sales volume.

Funny thing is, we have 2 AD's locally. The one in the mall has a billboard very close to the locally owned AD's shop!
