They don't and it's probably because it wouldn't sell. In all honesty I'm left handed and I've never felt the need to have such a watch (except, perhaps, for the look of it if I feel the need to add one to my collection), I've been used to winding my watches even if their crowns are on the right side.

One problem you would have to give your left arm to be able to put it on your right

Either way, it does look quite nice I must admit. It gives it a rather special and unique look.

Yes there have been a few left hand wind watches made by Rolex a few Subs and DJs.But that was quite a few years ago now,but I am sure with enough cash and contacts even today you could get one specially made to your spec. They only made a few in S.Steel and just a very small number in 18kt gold subs. Plus some that were specially made for the left handed Comex divers. And a very small amount of the DJs were specially made in the mid and late 1950s highly collectable now but now as rare as hens teeth.

Sorry, can't see how this would work on a watch with a date

The movement would also need to be "upside down", and then the date would be on the opposite side to the crown, and you would also need to flip/reverse the date-wheel

Well I agree with flipping the movement dial but I do not see why we would need to flip the date wheel. Provided that the window is on the other side you will see the date properly even if you flip the watch.

Unless I'm missing a point, I know we left handed can get mixed up easily with this flipping stuff...

I've oftentimes wondered how a lefty feels with the crown on the inside

James Dowling had a very rare left handed Sea Dweller that was stolen and not recovered, yet.

This watch caught my eye on a recent 60 Minutes segment. At first glance, it appeared to me as a left handed Rolex worn on the left wrist, but now I am not so sure. Any experts out there? Probably just wishful thinking. Wait, given the postion of the bezel marker, maybe he just flipped it for the interview.

Yeah, I get it. If you flip the dial the date will be viewed correctly with the window on the opposite side. Makes sense.

Anyone willing to try??
