A suggestion.
The end of the year is coming up and I have noticed, in my time on the forum, how many great pictures people post. Have you every considered a best pictures of the year thread? You could have different categories, the winner decided by forum members, and the winner getting like a free pledge membership.
Just a thought. I think it would encourage people to pledge just to vote on the winner.

I'm not a moderator but for some reasons this, although sounding like a fun idea, I don't think it would be the best thing. The Pledge Membership is, to me, not really a status symbol or a reward, it is just a choice somebody makes to contribute financially to this forum in order to help keeping it online and in a good shape. As for the contest being supervised, I think it could bring some problems as there aren't that many members who really take those types of pictures (by that I mean members who take control of the lighting, try to put their watches and accessories in various poses and use cameras with different features). Other members have decided to make funny contests and give little gifts such as catalogues and NATO bands as rewards and I think it was fine but I am afraid (again, it remains my opinion) it could bring possible problems if we decided to make it an official event controled by the administration.
Of course, if the said administration decides it's a good idea then I believe they will have thought about it and will assume it is a good idea (as they've did previously with a whole lot of ideas who were are still are great) but that's my opinion.
