Issue logging in.

Hello guys,

Every time I try to log to the forum it goes to either a Page that says invalid redirect or the Thank you for logging in then it goes back to the home pages and of course I'm not logged in. Today it took me 20 to log in. Please fix this it is VERY frustrating.

Thanks,
Zak

I've had the same problem tonight, the website had problems a few times.

Don't worry, it does happen just like any other website and I am sure the administration will work on it!

No problems on my end....

Are you using the https prefix to the site?

I wasn't but when this problem occurred tonight I tried to use the https prefix and it wouldn't work either (I would get the untrusted connection warning from Firefox and upon adding an exception it would redirect me to a totally different website).

I'll have to check into that......

If loging in using the http prefix, you'll always get the redirect.
In this case, click on the rolexrolexrolex banner on the screen to move you to the https designation....From there, there should be no issues!

Just logged out twice, and no issue logging back in!

Change your favourites link, if that's your access point, could be an issue in you cache.. and always use the 'remember me' box!?!

I believe I didn't say it properly, upon adding the exception (when Firefox would start to panic about the untrusted connection), it would redirect me to a different website from TRF...I am used to the "invalid URL" message and quickly found a solution to this but this is the first time Firefox sends me to something different.

It's my homepage on my laptop, next time it happens I'll personally give this a try (I must admit it doesn't happen anymore and was temporary in my case, I'm thinking my internet is sometimes getting fussy...chances are it doesn't even have something to do with the forum when it happens to me).

Thank you for the explanation Rob, I hope it will help Zak and I'll keep this in mind if it ever happens to me again!
