Another price check, 16610 'L' Series
I saw this L series 16610 for sale, $3850 shipped. Doesnt come with anything else, just the watch, but it doesnt really concern me as it will be a regular wearer. Good price?
Thanks, Ron |

Thanks padi! I'm still new to Rolex and usually use series and serial interchangeably.

You may want to factor in a service as well $500+ (or at least a pressure test). Use the service as a bargaining chip and see how it goes.
Good luck

It appears the lugs have been worked upon before - but not too worrisome. The bracelet has been brushed as you'd expect.
Be sure the bracelet comes with enough links to fit your wrist correctly or that'd be another expense. I can't really tell if it has 10, 11 or 12 links from the pics.

Thanks for the input! Seller said it comes with 12 links. Full bracelet is 13? My wrist is 7.25", so I might be good there.

Actually in 89 12 was all the links and it will fit you fine! First year for the 3135 movement in that watch which other than a couple of minor "upgrades" (parachrom hairspring) same as today! Enjoy

as others have stated, price is fair, as long as condition is there, given its unknown service history, I would try to get that price down even further...

Thanks Roger, didn't know that 12 was the full size back then. Learned something new again.
Well, seller is firm on the 3850, so I'm on the fence because like most of you posted, try to get it down a bit more for service costs. Why can't I just be happy with my 216570?!?! |
