I'm so happy with my DSSD
Hello!
I'm so happy with my DSSD, since i bought it still in my wrist. Soon I'll go to Malapascua ( Philippines ) to dive, let's see if i like it also underwater like the Ploprof...i dont miss the Ploprof nither the 14060m ( I've traded both watches for the DSSD ) Regards |

Thank you!!
The only thing that make me a little bit unhappy is that I can't use the diver extension... I think you have/had the same problem. If I remove one link and install the diver extension the watch still a little bit lose, if I remove two links and I install the diver extension, I can see the diver extension and I don't like it. The solution is take out the diver extension and install the two the links. Regards |

Enjoy your trip. Take lots of pics and post them up when you get back. Always good to see a dive watch in its true element.

I am so jealous! My next dive trip isn't for a long time. DSSD looks small on you!

Those were two nice watches you traded! I wish Ihad them.... but yeah, the DSSD is the undisputed king of underwater...only if Ploprof came with an oyster bracelet, I would be all over it ... it is a big turnoff for me to see plastic/rubber bracelets on such accomplished divers like the Ploprof....
By the way, you are the perfect person to ask --- since you traded your Ploprof, how easily was your Ploprof accepted and did you take any loss on it compared to what you paid? If there was a loss, was it just chump change or pretty significant? Thank you |

I came close to getting a PloProf on mesh. It's a great dive watch but big and bulky. It's well accepted especially by Omega fans. It retails for $9700 but can be had around $6k used so its like any other Omega in terms of value.

Wow that Deepsea looks different on your wrist. It looks much bigger on most people. How big are your wrists ?
Have a good trip and look forward to the pics. |

I'll be in Malapascua for one week..but i can't really dive much. My friend ask me to a place to get married and celebrate with friends in petite comité, so i told him Malapascua. I'll wake up at 4 am to see sharks and I'll try to dive also in the afternoon. ..but not sure. And yes, the DSSD looks ok in my wrist, not to big. Even the 372 looks ok, hehehe. Regards |

I can tell you with numbers, I've paid 4500€ and the maximum offer that i got for it was 3800 with mesh and rubber and two clasp. Also with warranty till 2014. I only found one problem with my Ploprof, if i wear it long time even for shower, some dust goes to the bezel and feels hard to turn... after cleaning turns perfect. I decided to sell or trade. Interesting model of ROLEX. I am curious as to how many 'actual' (dive for a living) divers have purchased this model.
