Endlinks and GMTs

Will 555 Jubilee endlinks fit a 16710 GMT2?

502T would be the correct end pieces.

Yeah I know 502Ts are what I need but I have 555s here in my parts box, the 16710 is still incoming. Just curious if they fit

They will fit, not perfectly but they will.

You'll have to find Datejust springbars (smaller diameter).

A lot of folks do use the 555's. Since they are for the slightly smaller 36mm case, the contour is not the same against the 40mm case.

And, as was mentioned, you must make a compromise with the spring-bars..

You must/should also use the DJ bracelet with the 1.8mm end tube on the bracelet half.

The proper Jubilee bracelet that came on GMT's will have a 50 stamped on it and takes the GMT 2mm spring-bars and requires the 2mm 502/502T tube end-links.

Lots of GMT's running around with the DJ Jubilee though...

Thanks Larry,

I thought I'd read they'd work but after reading about 20 threads, I couldn't find anything definitive. The 555s will do for a few weeks.
