YG Daytona VS. YG GMTIIC?

I would assume this has been asked already, but I couldn't seem to find it. I think these two watches are even more comparable than Daytona and DDII. Looking towards the future, I can't decide which I'd rather have...

YG Daytona. The YG GMT IIc is awesome, but the Daytona > most....

I need a date function. I would go GMT II C. It is awesome on the wrist too.

Positives:

I think the gmtiic in yg is such a nicely balanced watch. I love how substantial it is.

On the other hand, I like how the Daytona seems to sit a little closer on the wrist. I think this is because of the softer edged cut of the case, and it appears to me to be a lot thinner.

Negatives:

I think the gold bezel font in the gmtiic is somewhat dominating and not quite as subtle as I would like.

No one is going to agree with me on this, but I think the squares on the face of a Daytona at 3/9 detract from the watch somehow. I often wonder how they could improve this but I can never come up with a better idea for how I would like it instead. I also really appreciate a date function.

All and all they both must become part of my collection at some point in time, but I think the daytona will come first, surely- and that's just based off of my gut instinct.

I have a SS Daytona and a yellow gold GMT2C. The Daytona dial is just to busy for me anymore and I have to get out my reading glasses if I want to use the function with accuracy. Daytonas are great but you need stronger eyes than my 50+ year old models. Wear the GMT 100 times more often than the Daytona. Have the black dial and its my most commented upon watch which is nice unless you are forced into a dark alley.

Daytona for me, GMT bezel numbers in gold are just a bit too in your face. Maybe with the older smaller numbers though.

Normally, I would vote Daytona, but the GMT2c solid gold with green dial is a killer combo. I would take that in a heart beat.
