New Rolex Sub

Posting some pictures of my fathers new Sub C. Just picked it up today, the quality of this watch is amazing! We are also thinking about picking up a used excellent condition 16610LV M Serial. The seller is asking $6795, any opinions?

Welcome to the Forum!

Nice watches.

The price on the LVs are all over the map, from high $5Ks to low $7ks.

Good luck!

The Blue TT SubC is beautiful!
Adding a 16610LV would give a nice SS alterntive.

Thank you all for the compliments. We are going to look at the 16610LV again later today. Is there any downside to buying a watch thats been sitting for 4-5 years? The seller might have another one with a V serial which would be a little bit newer but he is asking another $200 for it.

Great looking TT. I love the classy look of that watch.
As for the LV, it is an awesome watch. I would jump on it. Is it a NOS or is it a trade in?
Welcome to the forum. Look forward to seeing more pics

I have an LV 'M' I fell in love with it and in a month later, Sep 09 I bought one and never once regretted it, I say go for it, I'm sure that you won't regret it either. But try to get it for a bit less, $6795 is nearly what R-USA was charging for them when new. Just my $.02, good luck in whatever you decide.

regards,

Alex

Those pictures were just taken with my iPhone, but I will take a nice photoshoot with my DSLR and Macro lens soon

There is a 50/50 chance my father will pick up the 16610LV for me and give it to me as my law school graduation gift next year. Will keep you posted on the LV and with a proper photo shoot of the Sub C and my mothers datejust.

Two years ago the LV would have sold for the low $4's, I know because that is all I could get for mine. Crazy that sellers are getting more than the last MSRP on a old style sub. Even crazier that you can get a new Sub C or the new Explorer II for about the same price. I have come to the conclusion that that is way to much money for a old style sub........

Love the TT SubC, its a great watch. The price on the old LV is too high for me, even though the sellers seem to be getting that price range consistently. I prefer the Hulk when spending that much $$$$.
