New Member Into.

Been looking around this community for a while and wanted to introduce myself. Name is Ted, I am 33 and live in San Diego and have a 1969 YG Day-Date. I also have a couple vintage Omega watches and a modern Omega Seamaster. I prefer the hunt and story behind vintage watches over new, but can appreciate buying new as well. Soon I hope to get a sub Hulk or Blue TT. Anyhow, wanted to thank everyone for the info and sharing their collections. Here is my President.

I had a Z serial sub that I bought when I was 26, and I loved it. The problem I had with it was that it took away from me wearing my Seamaster that my parents bought for me and I really like to wear. I know they are different, but both are sturdy black everyday watches and 95% of the time I wore the sub. They just were too similar for me. The thought was that I could trade my sub with HQ Milton in SF, pay the difference and get a YG Pres. I recently got married and I have a YG band. I know most guys my age prefer silver/plat/YG, but I like YG and thought I could get the YG pres and in a bit get a hulk or blue tt. That way I could have 3 very different watches. Although I loved my sub it just didn't mean that much to me. I have seen some collections on this site and some guys have multiple watches that look 90% the same to me. I just don't know how they decide which one to wear.
