Supreme Skate Shop Rolex Sub

This came up on my facebook feed this morning...(don't need to be logged in to view)
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151236027357202

Personally I think its horrible and have to imagine this is aftermarket work. Can't believe Rolex would do this...

Well... For purists this Supreme x Rolex collabo is horrible, however, for folks that love both brands and have a connection with people telling you no all the time this piece will have a special place for a select few...

Yeah, I'd rather have no Rolex than on with the F word written on it. Real class right there.

I did enjoy reading the comments though. So many kids saying how cool it is etc. I'm too busy going to work to be a skater or a member of any other silly subculture.

Nothing wrong with a little attitude on a Sub for the skateboard crowd, but seems a shame to do that to a classic timepiece. To each their own.

Plenty of folks modify Rolex and sell them. Rolex does not make nor condone such things.

Supreme is by far the most famous and influential streetwear brand. I got into horology through streetwear, and I was expecting this to happen. I personally dislike the fact that Supreme became this big, and that every single kid rocks their 5 panel hats...and trust me those kids will go bonkers over this watch. Not everyone will be able to afford it, but I highly disagree that this watch lost value cause of F word on the dial. On the contrary, it will be a highly demanded piece. If you knew Supreme, you'd know they don't give a F, and that's their attitude. That's why this piece is SO Supreme.

Shop-bought individuality, eh...

thats pretty gangster!!! (meaning cool) i like how its subtle....

reminds me of a badge replacement for ford i saw years ago. it was a factory like ebmlem that said the "f word" in the same font as the ford logo. even as big as it was, most people never noticed...lol

Haha! For you and I and other purists this collaboration does not work, however, some folks that collect abstract art will appreciate this splash of paint on a Leonardo...

Not sure why someone would spend their money on a collab for a Rolex vs. something that is clean. If I was going to go custom, at least Bamford has some clean customized Rolex....

I personally wouldn't purchase it, but it doesn't offend me. I don't see the big deal.

The little bit i know about supreme , this is why they do this , to get all the enthusiasts on the bloggs all riled up and talking about them. to be honest i think the watch is "fun" at best...... if you can afford to buy what will probably be a "Fuck EM" watch i say go for it , will definetly increase in value just following Supreme trends in the past, so cant go wrong there , and you might just find that right day where "Fuck Em" is what you want written on your watch!! AMEN hahahahah

Im pretty sure it means everyone who wears a rolex and does not like the fact that there sub says F Them. At my local harley shop there is a mechanic there who has a custom bobber with the Words. Die Yuppie Scum on his tank. Im pretty sure he is talking about the succesful people in life who ride harley's because they love them not because they think they are an outlaw. Kind of Ironic though when those are his paying customers. I for one would never let that idiot work on my bike. Even more Ironic that Rolex would endorse that company too if that is a real Dial.

I am just curious, how much extra they charge for the dial mod and the silly engraving.

No, I am not unterested in buying it - just curious how much people are willing to pay for this kind of crap
