He means that there have been many threads speculating the end of the LV, but no one knows except Rolex.

Well it's pretty simple, if you like how it looks and plan to wear it, then buy it and not worry if they discontinue it or not.
If you are only going to buy it because you think you can make a profit if it's discontinued, then there are better investments out there. |

Rolex makes lots of money of the LV. It is hard for them stopping the LV, but only Rolex know what it is going to be... Don't believe rumours. Wait and see in the Basel show.

This should have been a ONE YEAR WATCH, in my opinion. Should have ran as a "F" in 2003, and then stopped. I know its late in the night and I am grumpy, but I think even IF it is stopped, its too late. I had one, and dumped it. Hate to be negative, but just my 2cents...

I would love to have a crystal ball to see what Rolex has planed for the future. The Basel show is too far off. Like a child at Christmas (no pun intended) I hate to wait every year to see what Rolex will do next. It seems the only facts we can count on with Rolex is wait for Basel (everything else is a guess, hunch, rumor, or a lie) and that each year Rolex will ask us, the consumers to pony up more money to buy their products. I am scared to see if this will be a yearly trend forever. I can not afford to ever pay $7,000 for a Sub or $6,000 for a datejust. I wonder if Rolex will price out a fair portion of their customers who decide a Rolex costs too much?
What is your Basel wish? Mine like a few others on this forum is a re-release of the red sub or double red SD. |

LV not shown on Rolex website
Last night I noticed that the LV had been removed from the Submariner model page on the Rolex. The website now shows 11 GMT models also

Just checked the Rolex site, and the LV is still there under "portfolio", unless I am missing something...

My AD said the same thing. I think the price for this watch will be cruel in a few years because of all the mania and hysteria sorrounding this watch...
