Gross misrepresentation by Beacon Hill Jeweler
Just made a purchase from Beacon Hill Jeweler aka Kevin from Boston through TimeZone
Here is the TZ ad: ROLEX ROLEX 2 TONE 18K & STAINLESS DATEJUST W/ DESIRABLE TAPESTRY DIAL TZ NEAR MINT! Mon, 06 May 2013 11:33 Just as the title states, offering a beautiful Rolex Datejust in two tone 18 karat yellow gold and stainless steel. Watch comes with a desirable Tapestry, or Tuxedo dial~Note the vertical engraved design of the dial. Dial is a beautiful silver/slate color with polished yellow gold hour markers and yellow gold hand. The dial is in superb condition, as is the yellow gold fluted bezel. The watch has been fully polished to look just like new, and has had a brand new case tube fitted as well as all new gaskets and spring bars. A new crystal has also been installed since these photographs were taken. The case and bracelet are in superb condition with only very slight stretch. The clasp has a strong coronet impression, and closes firmly. The bracelet is full length with all links. Included with this watch is it's Rolex box and hang tag. The box has a new matching non Rolex inner pillow as the originals were known to disintegrate in storage after only a few years. The watch winds/runs/sets properly, and the crown screws down properly. The movement is visually clean, properly oiled, and keeping accurate time. While the service history is unknown, a visual inspection shows that this watch will not need serviced anytime in the foreseeable future. TZ Near Mint This watch is a full size 36MM Mens Datejust, with a 20mm lug size. Here is the real "Near Mint" watch: Significant corrosion all around the inner rim of the case. Crown does not screw all the way: There is a gap between the the case back and the case on one side of the watch, case back is screwed all the way: The other side for comparison showing no gap: After I emailed him regarding my concernes, Kevin still insisted that the ad accurately portrays the condition of the watch. PM'ed these pictures to him yesterday and haven't heard from him since. Was not offered any kind of compensation or resolution, and at this point not looking for one. |

Just read the reviews on Watchnet "Deal Watch". Not the first time he has done this, has a bad reputation. Wish I knew before making the purchase.
This guy is located on 333 Washington St. Boston, MA. posted on all websites and on Yelp. Anyone who reads it please be aware. |

He wasn't banned from VRF
for no reasons. Check Watchnet and see, he's done this MANY times before.

Offered to take it back.
It's going back, pending his instructions. Lets see how that goes.

If you opened it, as well you should, he will probably say it's been tampered with. The bad guys never go good
