I would say that you didn't shine the light on the insert as long as the dial..

will it because flat four is a earlier made so the pearl is lumanova only not SL?
Or could it be that the previous owner had it service and changed newer dial?

They only named it Superluminover when they moved the Chinese factory who made the Luminover paint to the new factory in Switzerland they are both the same paint Luminover and Superluminover. And all Rolex sports watches in that time frame had the so called flat four font. And the flat four front has been used for decades on many Rolex watches through the years they quite regularly change the fonts on dial and inserts its just a font like the many others and nothing special.

The pearl on the insert on my LV doesn't glow as well or long as the dial and hands do. Mine isn't a flat 4 either. Hope this helps

OP is saying flat 4, but it is not an LV that he has pictured. It appears to be a regular 16610.
