I don't know if it is a silly question..

I would ask why almost nobody likes watches made of SSYG ... years of being on the forums and I can not understand. Some are horrific agree but others are beautiful but used them are sold for less than the steel ones.
I particularly love the YM 16623 and the Daytona 16523. I'm so far from the likes of you all? According to what I read the only one that has a little more acceptance is the Sub. and the model two tones with blue.
Or will this only happens in USA. Here are readers worldwide .. can someone tell if your country got it?

If you're talking about TT watches, I think you're vastly underestimating their popularity.

I see TT watches a lot, from a lot of different brands.

Sure, some people may not like them and say so, but isn't that the same with everything in this world?

I'll too assume you're referring to tt. And I agree, I don't like them at all. The only one that I think looks cool, but I'd still never buy, would be the tt gmtii

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^That is a gorgeous watch^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Like any other color combo, two tone isn't going to appeal to everyone. Personally, the favorite watch in my barn right now is a 116713.

To each his own, but I think there is a lot of love for Rolex in two tone, particularly the GMT from what I've seen. And of course, the DJ in TT is classic.

Market pricing doesn't lie, but there are plenty of TT fans out there.

Two tone watches are for people that want a gold watch but can't afford one.

I have a two tone watch!

I strongly disagree with this statement. While this may be the case for some, it is not for all. I can afford an all gold, and I know several who can, but they chose a TT instead. Why? I feel like the TT watches are versatile with whatever you wear, they can be dressed up or down, and it gives the watch a little but of "pop" without the full bling of an all gold watch.

I agree, and Vince was only joking.

There are some watches I think look slightly better in TT such as the Daytona panda. Somehow I don't love it as an all gold watch.

Why is that? I'd get a two tone datejust over most solid gold Rolex watches any time if I were to pick.

There is a saying: About tastes there is nothing written.

First of all I did not speak out against the TT just wanted to highlight the trend seen in the market. Even I am looking for one TT that suits me and I am happy for their discount prices. An example in a reputed and best jewelers in my city are selling a BNIB 116613 at a discount of 18%. That would be impossible in a 116610. And not to mention the used TT Daytona that are cheaper than the SS. In other hand es quite evident that I am not in tune with other people because the watch more horrible according to my taste that makes Rolex in TT (and SS also) has a large acceptance (and do not ask me which it is because is not my intention to upset anyone).
There is a saying: About tastes there is nothing written.
Finally I thank all your comments.

All, I repeat all, who can buy a TT watch can also buy an all gold. You just have to have the courage.

Overall, TT seems to go in and out of fashion, as concerns the mass market. I could show TT examples from the late 1920s, the 1940s, and of course, the 1980s, where TT dominated the market. So, buy when it's low and sell when it's high, same as always. Not sure if the current Sport Rolex craze will last another ten years...

And by the associative principle, SS watches are for people who can't afford two tone; they just want to be in the ROC (Rolex Owners Club).
