does kinetic class as quartz or automatic?

Hi guys,

Quick questions does kinetic movement class as quartz or automatic or combination between the two?
And does kinetic movement loosing any seconds on a daily usage like automatic or are they accurate like quartz?

I'd say it's a mix of both, the automatic part of it keeps the battery charged. Basically you have a quartz watch (with the same accuracy) with an automatic system that keeps it charged.

Ultimately the battery used is what i was purposely avoiding when i bought my first automatic watch. So for me i would call it quartz...it is a brilliant invention, just not something i would put in the same category as a mechanical / automatic watch.

It has a quartz crystal oscillator so it's a quartz.
