Bad News

My dream of a pepsi ceramic is forever shattered by the release of the 116719 BLRO. Now Rolex will never release it in SS, and it has now taken it's place next to the WG Sub. I hope they will consider a SS ceramic Coke, but i also doubt it. However, what a beautiful piece that BLRO is.

It does seem that rolex is catering to the more affluent these days.

Agreed. Chasing Patek, AP and other more exclusive brands which is I good thing . Rolexs are a dime a dozen around Miami. The other day got in my elevator bank for the office and counted 8 rolex watches in my elevator!

Don't like the black/blue? Seems like a great one to me.

Most people like the BLNR, but not me. Although i understand the day and night theme, i think it looks Frankensteinish

yeah... have not considered it myself, but I like the look. Different than owning or wanting to own one though I suppose.

Texas is the same way. A black sub is referred to as the Texas Timex.
