Flat Top 4

Whats the story with the flat top 4 insert? It has to be a service replacement but this one I have shows a beautiful mahogany hue (difficult to capture) and corresponds nicely with the date wheel.

Thanks for the input, it's not a thin font insert like the one shown in the image but thanks for the pic Micheal as I said it has faded to a charming dark brown, which seems quite common for this type of insert. Images of similar inserts brown or not would be welcome

The one that u posted matches the bottom one pretty close just not quite as thin.Yours is the 80s service insert as stated above. I have the same one but mine didn't turn brown. Nice that yours did because it Looks great on your red with the leather.
