BMW - Rolex
Whilst collecting my wife's car from the dealers following a service, I was pleasantly engaged by a gentleman who enquired as to my watch, I was wearing the Blue Black GMT. We then exchanged oohs and ahhs over his steel/gold.
Then oohs and ahhs, over my wife's SDc, thus dissing my Blue Black! Then we realised how sad we were, "are you a member of Rolex Forums?" he asked, I replied rather sheepishly confirming my membership. Nice to meet you Gazp.

I have had a similar experience with Skyscrapercity.com when I was recognised in Dubai, are other forum members as sad as me?
When I was buying a new lens in December I was asked what I photographed... watches and skyscrapers I replied..... sniggering from the assistant, he photographed women! |
