SS DJ trade in quote

Hi everyone, I had some "time" on my hands the other day and was wondering what my new datejust 116200 Z series watch was worth on a trade in, so I called swissluxury.com and asked if they can quote me a sell price and a trade in price. After sending an e-mail of my watch they quoted me $2600 cash, or $2850 if I decide to trade in for another watch. This seems low to me, but what do you think? I would only trade for a sub if I had to trade.

How about some more info on your watch please? Like is it an Z or M? And also not to be nosey, but an approximate of what it would cost to get a DJ with that dial now?

This info might help our members give you a better idea

It seems that it is US $ 5,450 if you see this chart.

Not a good deal at any standard, imho.

Edit: Cocopeep beat me to it.

As much as I hate to say it thats a fair offer. There's a hierarchy on Rolex watches on which ones retain the most value in comparison to MSRP and the DJ is not on top of that list. Could you sell it for more? Possibly, but from a dealer thats a fair offer.
