DeepSea Comfort...

I owned this watch before and flipped it cause i found it uncomfortable. I just bought it again 2 days ago and had the AD remove the "Diver Extension" and it is now very comfortable. I learned this info on TRF and I appreciate it greatly..

Just my 2 cents..Hopes it helps someone.

Found something similar with my SD4000 - removed the dive extension link and it fits and sits much better.

I did that when first got it, makes a big difference

I think people who think it is top heavy or not comfortable don't have them adjusted correctly

Congrats on a truly amazing watch!

I only notice the weight when I first put mine on in the morning. After that, it's just another watch. It's never felt uncomfortable.

I had also read on here about removing the divers extension for a better fit, so it came off the first morning. Because I never really spent any time with it on, don't really know if it's more comfortable or not. What I do know is it's a fantastic watch, with a great fit!

I've repurchased a few watches myself.... It sounds like you found a perfect fit...

Enjoy it,

Did you lose a lot of money flipping back and forth for this watch?

The DSSD is my favorit. Its actually more comfortable than the 16600.
The case back helps to keep it in place.

Good to hear you've found your sweet spot with the DSSD.

I too, have seen it posted here several times about the improved comfort with the diver extension removed.

Well, I flipped a few watches in between but yes ultimately I lost about a grand on it. At the same time I made a little on a few used watches I sold so I probably broke even in the end...

This watch is the one watch that haunted me after selling it....

Once I put the Diver's Extension Link in the box my DSSD became much more comfortable.

I had to do the same for a perfect fit.
Congrats on getting one back!
