Do You Wear Your Solid Gold Rolex Daily?

Guys,

I know that some members here are quite reluctant to wear their gold rolex as their daily watch.... But for me, my RG Daytona is a daily wear....and I'm a pipeline contractor....

Regards,

I love that watch. It is on my list, although in YG. Good for you for wearing it. Sorry, I can't answer your question....yet.

I'm really not sure what my daily is as i alternate so much.

Although i don't own a all gold my TT sub is not normally worn to say go to the beach. I normally pick my hulk or GMT. I suppose the TT is more likely to be picked when dressing up.

I simply think it is more in keeping that's all.

Love your RG daytona.
But I wouldn't wear it daily... unless I'm on vacation or retired.
My work environment isn't a place to flash the cash. If it were, I would.

My YG DD and my RG JLC are my go to dress watches. My all black Y-series GMT-II is my daily wearer, though.

I do not wear gold on a daily basis - about 2-3 times a week I do, just depends on whether and where I am traveling to primarily

Good for you! To be honest, so many people wear designer gold plated watches, the majority of people can't tell if you're wearing a designer or a Rolex. That RG Daytona looks GREAT!!!

Yes, two days in a row for me now, haha. I expect to rotate it and like Thomas will wear it maybe 2/3 times a week but it will be my daily for a couple of weeks yet.

I wear my RG Daytona every day :). I do take it off and switch it with a beater watch during the day when I go cycling or to the gym.

I wear gold or platinum pretty much on a daily basis. If you have it wear it and enjoy it...All the power to you!

Chaps

I think the recent trend for large watches is a boon for Daytona wearers as they no longer stand out, in fact they now look rather cute and restrained.

My grandson visited me the other day with some monstrosity on his wrist that made my Sub pale into insignificance.

Your average 40mm Rolex is actually quite understated, so it can be worn in safety and won't attract attention anymore and hence can be wore 24/7.

Regards

Mick

I wouldn't wear that daily in Jakarta (based on your profile) if I were you!

My rotation is for about a week at a time. So SS, YG, RG, each get plenty of wrist time.

Yes sir!

I thought that's what you were doing. One day I'll have that duo, but that one day is far away! Until then, I will love my Daytona and let my wrist live vicariously through yours for that DDII!
