SDDS with a suit ?

Most of us feel as comfortable with our Sub/SD in a suit as we do with a t-shirt. Could you see yourself with this Seiko Marinemaster clone matched up with Brooks Bros??

I want to see a picture when somebody buys one

I am sure that it can't compete the SS GMT II C

I have a Breitling Super Avenger (48mm) and it DOES NOT go well with a suit!

NIce pic of the GMT, Velitsko! Man, I am missing my GMT (sent to RSC for regulation).

My SD barely fits under my long sleeves, so I doubt the SDDS will fit. On the other hand, cuff links do allow one to wear larger watches. In that case, I think the SDDS might not look too bad with a suit. I mean, the new Bond wears the massive 45 mm PO, so anything cann happen these days.

What a pic! Those larger watches are gonna have trouble fitting under the cuffs though.

Be patient you are going to receive your GMT and you are going to enjoy it

I share the same opinion with you

These big watches are going to have a hard time fitting under the cuffs

Some tailors will actually make the left sleeve slightly looser to allow for a watch. They may have to readjust their thinking for this one though!

BTW - I would wear most watches with a suit. I have worn my SD, an Omega Flightmaster and a big orange faced Doxa with suits. All part of the fun.

No way should that watch be worn with a suit -- unless it's wetsuit.

Well, the new Bond also has a Simpsonesque upper lip.

Panerais are Italian, like some suits. I never heard of a Swiss suit.

Not for those who want to dress properly, of course most who would see it worn with a suit would not know it's not proper.

I wear my Exp II with a suit every day and it is the ideal look. I also wear the Exp II with jeans & T. These watches cross the boundaries no issue.

I wear my SD with a suit all right, but the new SD has all that rehaut engraving that makes it look like--forgive me--like a kid's action toy or something.

If they had just left the rehaut engraving off, it would have been a beaut.......

It's not so much the diameter as the height that will be an impedance to it fitting beneath a dress shirt.

Stylistically, I'm sure it will work as well with a suit as any other Swatch.

Frostie, that is one FINE photo!
