Should I entertain this trade???

Who in there right mind would trade the gold GMT C 116718 for the PP 5711/1A blue dial??.

I wouldn't. Not a fan of plain dial Nautilus. Much prefer 5726

I'd do the trade if the GMT were purchased preowned at a substantial discount. I prefer the Nautilus to the GMT even in precious metal.

Me neither. A full gold bracelet is too much to give up unless the PP is RG too such as a 5167r or 5712r and even then I would probably need to have another gold Rolex in the locker.

i don't know...it's more of a question of what you like. While I'm a huge fan of the 116718, I can understand how some would be attracted to the Patek.

I would entertain this trade...not sure if I would do it, but I would entertain it...

I agree that it's a fair trade in terms of value, BUT I would not do it as I much prefer a precious metal Rolex than a SS Patek.

That's a tough call. Having tried the 5711 recently, I have to say I'd lean that way! Very different pieces as mentioned already.

Yes. Yes I would.
For one, I'm the only guy on the forum who doesn't appreciate GMT. Second of all, a Pro Series on a bracelet in gold is not comfortable for me. Third, I traded a 116509 WG Daytona for a "lowly" 5167 Aquanaut, in steel, on a rubber strap.
I'm as happy as can be.
Some don't like or don't "get" Patek Philippe. That's okay. I know some Omega guys who don't "get" Rolex.

I love that reference in YG, so, no, I wouldn't. Yeah I know, it's a Patek, but I have gold fever right now, plus that's one of the best looking references in YG in my opinion.
