Winder settings for Tudor Chrono
Would anyone know of the best winder settings for a mid 80's Tudor 9420 chrono. I believe that the movement is somewhat similar to the Daytona of this time.
Thanks. |

If your Tudor chrono is an automatic it should be the venerable Valjoux 7750. The rotor only winds in one direction [which direction?]. Knowing nothing about winders I will be no help at all, sorry. The only winder I use is my wrist. Hope winder experts will be along soon to help. Got a pic of your Tudor? Good luck, dP

Hi Dan
Yes that sounds familiar. The watch is an automatic. The watch is being serviced and I just got the call that it is ready for pickup. I'm very keen to get it back having discovered on TRF that the watch is a monte carlo. I'll try and post some pictures tomorrow. |

Ooh, Monte Carlo - pictures! We want pictures!
I've got my 7750-based 79170 on about 650 per hour (I think). Seems to work fine.
