Last Day

I wore this watch since(pics below) 2005 and Monday it will my last. The best part is I get to go shopping for my next Rolex. My question is I got my eye on a Rolex Tridor Day-Date, But I saw this
http://bernardcheong.com/general/wou...w-about-these/
In his blog he states that "The LINK on the Tridor is both glued and lasered with minimal contact area". I want to know is this true.

thank you

I HIGHLY doubt they just glued it together. Then again, I'm not a Tridor expert

That is correct, all the gold models are held together with Superglue but on the SS models they use Elmers white glue.

Tridor endlinks design is a little different than normal president this is true but it is not a common occur at all, first I have ever heard of this anything man made can fail once every blue moon. It's a gold weld/ solder to my knowledge, any jeweller/goldsmith could fix that and make it stronger than original IMHO

@MonBK:You got me!
@Crowncollection: Thank for the information, I do believe in wearing my watch and I did not want it to fail while I working or playing a sport.

I would get a jeweller to fix both end links stronger. The rest of the band is the same as any other band, very strong.
