Interesting find - NOS GMT Master II Pepsi

For $7,500. Comes with everything except the warranty card, but my local jeweler is offering a three-year warranty. I believe the model is 16710.

Good deal or not?

NOS without a warranty card from a gray market dealer? That's basically a used, incomplete watch.

Not easy to find one nowadays so if I was on the market I'd seriously consider this one.

You should be able to get it lower. I see these all the time for 8-10k+ and they just sit there...

If that was the model I wanted and there was not a mark on it, as well as absolutely NO "touching up", what the heck? Although $6,000 might be the most I'd want to pay.

Do you have the first letter of the serial. That model ran a while. Even if it is NOS it may need to be serviced if its dry.

I think a LNIB used one would be around 6k-6.5k.

I would pass unless it had an unpunched warranty paper.

No warranty card/paper, not NOS. But if that's okay with you and watch condition is new why not pull the trigger at that price.

If it has a 3186 I'd buy it.

I would pass unless you plan for it to be a safe queen.
Much better buys out there as a daily wearer.

If you like it and can afford it, then yes. Someone was trying to sell a full set Z serial on here for 11k recently. Crazy asking price, but 7.5 is not that bad.

What is the condition? NOS means new old stock to me, not sold nor polished. If I wanted this model, I would pay a premium.

If really new old stock, worth it to me. Work him down a little and it's a good deal.
Pepsis are my favorite rolex, so I am biased.

If it was really NOS then it would still come with a valid Rolex 2 year warranty since Rolex is not sold by "model year" the warranty begin when it is first sold to the consumer from an AD.

Still, why would you pay an extra thousand bucks for this watch, it makes no sense. Once you put it on your wrist it is a used watch and worth exactly what every other 16710 is worth; that "premium" you paid is gone.

Now if it was truly an NOS GMT II and selling for what it would have sold at when it was released, I'll take it, wrap it up..
