Would you add an exployer II to your collection if you already have a BLNR?
Thinking of something that has a white dial - which I don't currently have.
Collection includes : Sub C, BLNR Omega 9300 Speedy, PAM 28L, PAM 305 Something will need to go... Suggestions appreciated! |

I'm an either or guy but they Are both nice watches. I would actually add the exp II in trade for the gmt. |

IMO the Exp II is much more wearable than the GMTIIC because of the brushed case. The 24hr hand is much easier to read as well. I prefer the GMT in YG over the SS or TT, but, the GMTIIC is a very comfortable watch, more than the SubC, IMO. I'd keep the GMT and sell one of the PAMs if you can't justify adding the Exp II outright.

Dueling posts? IMHO; prefer EXPII to BLNR.

I'm 65. I've been done with employers for years now.
Oh, wait that's exployers. I'm done with them, too. I get it now. The Explorer II is its own watch. If you can have multiple watches that keep the time only, why can't you have more than one watch that will keep time in more than one time zone?

I think us rolex wearers are either GMT or Sub guys... I'm a sub guy first. My ideal pair in Rolex are simply these: ps i also love the 42mm Exp II, it is a do anything/ go anywhere watch |

I actually added a BLNR to my collection when I had an Explorer II. They a very different watches in use an appearance, especially if you compare a BLNR to a white dial Explorer II. If I were you, I would do it as the Explorer II in my opinion is better suited for weekend and casual wear, while the BLNR can be worn with a suit.

I find that there's plenty of room in my small collection for the 14060M and the 116715, functionally and aesthetically.

Imo they are different watches, it would be nice to add the ExpII to your collection.

Trade the Sub C for an Explorer 2, or better yet, the Sub C and a PAM for a white Daytona. But whatever you do don't get rid of your BLNR, it's your best one!

One of the Panerai could go and you should consider an Oyster Perpetual or DateJust with a white dial to mix it up and have a more dressy option.

Fair enough, I'm a biased aviation guy. If I'm underwater in the ocean at anything more than 100m it means I had to ditch the aircraft and didn't make it into my vest or the raft. At that point my watch developing a leak is the least of my worries.

Yes. Polar EXP II 42mm complements the BLNR well, I think. They're different enough.

Why not? Both watches are of different styling and different size. The Explorer 2 looks more of a tool watch whereas the GMT looks more dressy.
