Hi everyone!
Need some help with this. "OT swiss OT" dial. What model is this and what is the value? Is the dial rare?

Thanks

To find the model, you will need to remove the bracelet and read the reference number at the 12 o'clock. The serial will be at the 6 o'clock, which will give you the approximate year of production.

Here is some information on the dial writing..

.

In "OT swiss OT" it's not the zero sign but sigma sign.

It indicated golden indexes and hands long time ago. Now all dials have gold hands and indexes.

No the dial is not rare some call it the pie-pan dial and was on a lot of dials by many manufactures back in the 1970s/80s.Myself never quote values except for only what someone is willing to pay.

Yes indeed. So the watch is probably 70's-ish

If they were steel indices the dial would say "-T Swiss T-"

That's a 1600 (1600, 1601, 1603, etc) series DJ with the 1575 movement; made with the pie pan dial from 1959 until 1977.

In 1977 it was replaced with the 16000 (16013, etc.) that had the 3035 movement and the pie pan dial was phased out...

It's a 1601, mid 60s to mid 70s, I would say. Worth btwn 2 and 2.5k approx, depending on who's doing the selling and buying.

The data wheel looks like champagne so it isn'tcorrect for this stainless steel DateJust watch. The correct date wheel shoul d be brushed silver.

Hi Guys,
thanks for your answers.

I made some investigation and it is 1601, serial: 506XXXX and from 1977.

I want to ask is the date wheel really replaced? I thought is was just patina.. still authentic, right?
I've seen this champagne date wheel few times earlier in 1601 with the same dial and i thought it's normal.

Thanks
