Daytona in California
Hi everybody. I have recently joined this forum, and browsing this forum have really opned my eyes to a new world. So good that this forum exists. I bought a fake daytona (I know I'm cussing in the church here) when I was about 16-17 years old, but I realize that time has come to buy "the real deal".
In october I will be going on vacation in California, and I would like to buy a rolex there. I will be visiting San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. I am thinking of buying a new or second hand Daytona TT. Anybody have some advice (I am a total novice) on how to buy, where to buy and the price range? Thanks a lot for bearing over with me, and replies. |

wait for your local dealer to get one for you and let me assure you i would rather buy a watch from the AD in my home country i waited nearly 8 years for my first daytona.
i brought a submariner in Los angeles and when i checked the authencity of the watch, it was sold by a dealer in called Vendrell in spain, the warranty cert had a different country code the dealer could not expalin to me how it ended up in california. I promptly sold the watch and purchased a correct one from my UK dealer |

Well in Norway it's so incredibly expencive compeared to US. I am confident there must be somwhere in Los Angeles, San Francisco or San Diego where you can buy a real rolex daytona to a reasonable price?
What is the list price for a Daytona TT? |

You should have zero problems finding a TT Daytona at discount.

Welcome to TRF!
Gotta agree with Allen! You should be able to get at least 15 % on a TT Daytona. Probably also more, but it depends on the AD, his stock (how long he has had the TT Daytona), your payment method (CASH helps!) and last but not least your negotiation skills. Best of luck, and please post some pics here when you get it!

TT Daytona MSRP = $13,400 I'll have to defer to someone else regarding the San Fran AD recommendation.
