Omega guy, help me on First Rolex.
Hi, I'm new to the forums and deciding on my first rolex.
I already have two Omega Planet Ocean's and a Blue Aqua Terra and Only want one rolex in my collection. What will be a nice watch to put as the one rolex that will hold value and anchor it as a icon in my collection. 116610LV Hulk - Love the Green, but how Iconic is it? 116600 SD4000 - Love it because it not the black Sub. 116710BLNR - Cool GMT but I like the Pepsi one bit more. Thank you. |

116600 for a true iconic Rolex to anchor the collection.

Hulk! Especially if it's ever discontinued. Or get a 16710 classic GMT - Pepsi. Depends on what you want, all Rolex watches are awesome for different reasons.

Out of the three you have mentioned, I would go with the BLNR, especially since you have two diving watches. Not sure if the Aqua Terra is considered a diving watch or not, but it is a Seamaster, so you may have three diving watches. The BLNR would add the GMT function and some diversity to your collection.

I'm not that into Chrono's at the moment, but down the line yes I will. I'm 26 years old and feel like I just want one Rolex. I love the Black Sub but I see them everywhere, so I was thinking maybe the seadweller4000 will be little bit different. I saw the LV Sub and was blown away, looked very unique but will it be ok to be my first rolex? The BLNR looks nice but don't really know if I will use the GMT function.
I'm slightly leaning towards the LV HULK, because it looks unique. How are the demand for the Hulk? Will it hold its own as a one rolex? |

I would go with the 116600 if you are looking for an iconic all around Rolex.

For me, LVc always over SDc or BLNR. All the best things about a Submariner with the twist of a gorgeous dial.

Get a 16710 GMT and have both the coke and pepsi inserts. 2 watches in one.

Will it matter if I have two black Omega PO in my collection? I have a 8500 and a Liquid metal version.

1. BLNR
2. 114060 (Iconic No date Sub and not as common as you'd think) 3. Hulk, cool if you like green 4. SD4000 Nice but thick and a little redundant unless you really only want divers 5. 16750 GMT with a Pepsi bezel, nothing wrong with a classic. |

You have the dive watches covered with 3 Omegas.
I would try on a BLNR and classic 16710 Pepsi. You need to add a GMT to that collection. Happy hunting |

Can;t go wrong with either. Try them both on. They wear differently and have different aesthetics. One should jump out as the winner.

It's up to you, my preference would be the SD, for its classic case design.

I would go Sub as well... So the Hulk. Unless you are also considering the 114060, which gets my vote.
