A little shopping
Well, I had to go to the mall today to get a tux fitted for a wedding I'm in next month. While I was there I decided to pop into Mayors and make myself feel better about paying $225 for a tux rental by trying on some nice timepieces.
This is my first time trying on the HULK. I've determined that I like the look of it in pictures but not on my wrist. I just don't think the green is for me. Regardless, its an awesome looking watch. The Yachtmaster, however, is amazing. I've tried it on before but forget how great this watch is. I love the red second hand and writing against the blue dial. The bezel is just something else in the light. Fit/feel is great as it sits nice and flush on my wrists with little gap. This is probably my favorite Non-PM Rolex that I don't currently own. |

I was wearing a blue shirt so maybe the green looked off because of that. The Yachtmaster sings to me! Sadly, I would have to drop one of my current pieces to pick that one up now. Maybe in a couple years I can purchase it in addition to my current collection. Hey, my 5 year anniversary is coming up......thats a big one, right?

Both look great...but I echo your thoughts on green. It's just too much for me too.
It's good to have a watch "in the barrel" so to speak. Gives you something to shoot for and think about. |

Both look good on you. I've never tried them on but if I had to choose one for myself it would be the Hulk. The YM is beautiful but the Hulk is less prone to scratches and smudges.

I'm planning on getting a Rolex (my first) for my 5-year anniversary next year, so I'm right there with you! I just haven't decided between a Datejust, Datejust II, SubC, Yacht Master, or a GMT regular or BLNR. Choices, choices.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
