16520 Zenith Daytona P Series - Black Dial
Hi All
I have been offered a P Series (2000) Zenith Daytona, original box and papers etc. for £5000GBP (approx. $7750 USD). Whilst I have always admired and appreciated the Daytona, rightly or wrongly, its never been a model top of my list to buy so I have a fairly limited knowledge of it. But, at this price would I be crazy not to take it, seems like a relatively good deal Your thoughts and comments would be appreciated All the best |

Having looked around recently at a few Zenith Daytona I would say that is
a little underpriced in comparison to the market in London. My newbie view is it is between trade and retail but I'm happy to be corrected. |

That's a good value. Buy it if you want to resell or wear.

While it's a good price they are not selling for that much more privately on chrono24 so I'd only buy if you will wear it as well.

It's a good deal if it is in good condition and a Stainless model. If it's a Two Tone, it's typical and not really a "deal".

Have not seen that price for a full set 16520 in good shape in a long, long time.

Thanks for all your input so far. It's a stainless steel, black face model with box, papers, booklets, swing tags etc. The only thing that I can see that might be missing is the bezel protector. After doing a bit of 'shopping around' today it seems like a good price so I think I'll take it

I've been looking at Daytona's recently. Finding any less than 6-6.5 is proving difficult.
Seems a good deal to me (if it looks straight).

If it's genuine that's a great price. Love the Zenith movement. BUY! BUY! BUY!

Thanks all. Bought the watch today, very happy with it. It's a complete set. I've already dropped it into the RSC this afternoon for a spruce up.... Can't wait to see the finished product in 6 weeks

I said that it's a good deal for a Stainless model which was the op's question. For TT models it is typical and would not be a good deal; additional information that may be of value to those interested..
