Subby wanted sunning, his story

Well Subby and I are starting to become good friends. To be honest I went upstairs to put him on and found him cowering in the folds of my Selvyt cloth that I use to rest my watch on.

I was a little taken aback, and said in a calming gentle voice, "what on earths the matter Subby" he replied in a smaller voice, (not really suitable for such a tough watch was expecting more of a Clint Eastwood type voice) "a note's been left here for me by someone called Dwelly and Gmteeeee, they are warning me about the way you flipped them to some stranger, and how I should be careful."

I let out a sigh, and replied "Subby, please don't fret, they went to good homes, I checked to make sure no harm would come to them and I had some very good reasons for moving them on. What can I do to reassure you."

Subby replied, can we go out together, without any protection." " Sure," I said, and so I started to peel of the protection. Subby stretched and smiled, "thats better".
Off we went walking down the street, I looked at him, and he gazed happily at me. both content in the knowledge that this was the beginning of a long and happy friendship.

Very cute Jon. Very cute. The manly side of me won't allow me to write stuff like that, but I feel you man. May you have love and happiness the rest of your days.

This is just SOO skitsofrenic! I can't clearly imagine you walking down the sidewalk, talking to your watch, and by-passers going "HUH?!" !!

Thanks for sharing the story and pic, Jon!

Do you mean you don't talk to yours, maybe thats why he looks so sad. Every normal person talks to their Rolex, a JJ, Now Omega's and Breitlings are so ignorant and don't even get me talking about Patek

Jon, this one's developing a personality as well!

How are do find the RBR, as Dwelly and GMTeeeeeeee didn't have it?
It's a little strange seeing "my" watch with it.

yours

David

To be honest, I don't notice it, and when I do, I find it an appealing extra. Its very subtle in real life, photos seem to accentuate it

If I was "subby" I would be a worried by a man with your record to commitment.
Still there's one born every minute, maybe it's true love, my advice is for "subby" to sign a pre nuptial agreement
