New to the Rolex world: Just purchased my first piece Deepsea D-blue

Hi Everyone,

New to this forum, I'm an aussie living and working in Singapore. Purchased my first Rolex, the DeepSea D-Blue. I originally wanted to buy a preowned deepsea black dail but when I saw this piece I couldn't help myself.

I know it's not a smart move buying new but this is my daily watch, no plans on selling it ever...

Also I was told that the D-blue model is a long waiting list here in Singapore. True or just a sellers hype?

Anyways happy to find this forum, been reading some threads and everyone here seems so cool

Welcome to TRF and afraid most all ADs and sellers talk hype especially when over new released watches and imminent price rises.

Watch has also long waiting lists here in Germany. What your AD says is correct. No hype just high demand...

Congrats. As for buying new, guilty of the same - as are many here.
At least you know it hasn't been ground down and refinished, there's value in that.

Very cool. Did you get a small hard bound book" The Last Frontier" and a letter from Rolex?
