My ex 5512 dial
I read the 5512 post at http://rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=418101 with interest.
Below is the 5512 I had but sold (photo credit to Jacek). It has the off-center "-" in "Swiss - T< 25." Is this the "kissing S" variety that Marcello says is "rare as hen's teeth" in the thread above? Serial number starts with 53, so 1978-ish. I'm now wondering if the dial was a replacement, or whether it was indeed super-rare... Hoping to hear from those who know. |
