Do you wear your Rolex to the gym?

I got my bluesy Sub date two tone last week and I keep getting the urge to wear it to the gym. But ill sweat like a pig on it. Bad idea?

Up to you! I wear my sub to the gym sometimes however if you're doing activities such as running then this may affect accuracy marginally but it won't cause any damage to the watch. Just give it a rinse with warm water afterwards to remove the sweat as it could eventually corrode the seals.

I know it sounds cheesy but after my Mercedes it is the most expensive thing I currently have so I like showing it off every chance I get.

Nope. When i'm at the gym, I'm lifting and not screwing around. Too easy to put deep scratches in it.

Some dress up to go to the gym, I am not one of those people.

I just try to get as sweaty as possible.

If you can go diving with it, you can sweat with it.

Cracks me up as well seeing women with full-on makeup and perfume at the gym as well. LOL.

I would wear certain Rolex watches to the gym. A bluesy though is a bit too flashy for gym attire. A 16610 or 16600 would be a perfect gym watch

I leave watches in the locker
If you just go in to do 20 mins on the elliptical or a Zumba class your watch is probably safe
If you actually train hard at the gym I would see wearing any jewelry as a hindrance

No. I am always banging my hand into some metal and my locker has been broken into.

Do not think "that" guy has as much to do about the watch than about the attitude.

Some cool folks at my gym, after I got to know them, they could wear anything and they would not be "that" guy. "That" guy is the one who looks down on others, to me it is an attitude.

Having been a personal trainer some years back for nearly 8 years, I never wore my Rolex to the gym, but I did see several folks work out in theirs many, many times. ....I myself don't see the point.

Not a chance. I leave everything at home short of my member ID and gym clothes of course . Way to many stories of lockers being broken into, and to many opportunities to damage your watch on the gym floor.

I wear mines to the gym, it then goes in the locker till I'm done.

I don't get why people wear watches and weight train or even cardio for that fact.
