According to some of the posts in the other threads, NO! People might think you're overcharging for the oil change change if they see you wearing a Rolex.

Lets see, how many rules are being broken here?

Wearing it at work, what will the car think?
Getting it dirty, it will need to be cleaned
Scratches from the long sleeve shirt
No matching jewelry
Can't see the date on the watch for the picture, some will be upset

Yeah, you might offend a potential customer, or even hinder your advancement to Head Oil Tech if seen wearing a Rolex. You'll just come off as arrogant.

A 52 year old should not really be asking that question.....but Jocke, given that it's you...... Yes you can doing anything in my books when it's Rolex related......I just wouldn't go running naked through the town centre on Saturday night though......Rolex or not......

Just up-sell them on the auto trans you're working on.
"Yeah the forward clutch is making flakes, and you've got a Torrington bearing putting shiny bits in the pan. Trans is smoked. But I can rebuild it for you no problem."
Then you can buy another watch!

You can only wear it if it's cheaper than the car you're working on. Cars are sensitive beings you know.
