Lost & Stolen check

Hi Guys

Just bought a 16710 off ebay and was wondering if it is possible to get the serial checked still at Rolex UK?

Its been a while since I bought from another individual (ie not a jeweller) and have heard that the UK number is no longer available to the public.

If the above isn't true can someone PM me or post the number

Thanks

John

You can't just ring them up; you must take the watch in.

I would think if you take it in to RSC for a service estimate they might automatically check their stolen database to see if it is reported stolen.

Is there any way to check a serial number before making a purchase to see if it was lost or stolen? Will Rolex provide that information?

If you do that and it has been reported stolen, I'm not so sure you'll get it back.
