There have been many changes in past few years for Rolex especially in the Professional series. I have heard positive and negative things in regards to size, color choices, fit and finish. Lugs too wide, hands too small, watch too big, crazy lightening bolt! It seems to me anyway that all things equal, the new style (not so new anymore) GMT ceramic bezel 116710 may just be the winner. All the new features, I bit more tapered than sub, and the green is perfect on the black.

I prefer the 16710 though. The ceramic bezel is too shiny for me.

All of the ceramic GMTs are on-point. I prefer them in this order: 116713, BLNR, LN, BLRO

judging by incomings on here, I would say BLNR seems to be the winner.....

It is a great watch, to be sure. As to 'winner'...that's going to be purely subjective.

BLNR is the hot watch at the moment but don't forget the LN version was released back in 07 time will tell if the bicolour bezel out sells the LN.

I prefer the LN to the BLNR. Never quite took to the shade of blue.

Rolex definitely did a great job with the GMT, kicking off the updates to their sports line-up with ceramic bezels, upgraded bracelet links and clasps, new hairsprings, maxi dials/hands, etc.

I had lost interest in mechanical watches for a while, and the GMTC lured me back in. Started doing a lot of work travel when I got it, and it was a fantastic, and useful, companion on so many trips.

But I do wish the steel version had a completely brushed bracelet.
And a bi-color bezel at launch would have been great--I think that adds to it's functionality and would have been more appropriate historically.

The BLNR is certainly the winner because the bi-color bezel is the tradition of GMT model. Besides, the ceramic bezel with two colors developed by Rolex was a technology breakthrough when it was issued in 2013 Baselworld.

With a factory brushed bracelet this would be near a perfect watch. To me the PCL do not work at all on this watch and have no idea why Rolex included them.

It is a close call. FWIW I compared both at an AD and after a considerable period of thought went for the LN. I have not regretted this for one second but I can still understand why folk love the BLNR. I just feel that the LN is a tad more versatile in that it can appear more dressy if need be.

I prefer the LN over the BLNR too. Sooner or later, Rolex gonna release a Coke version and pple are going to go gaga over it too.

I like the LN myself. I know a lot of people preferred the BLNR laterly. If Rolex ever discontinue the green arrow, everyone will jump back to LN.

All other Rolex's with PCL's have polished lugs as well, making the thin brushed outer links the contrasting accents. However, the GMT has brushed lugs, making the wider PCL the contrasting accent.
