Gaskets references?
Can someone tell me the gaskets references for a 24-700 crown and 24-7000 tube? Where to get them? Thanks

Not sure if Rolex supply them separately. I thought they only came with a new crown and tube.

The old tube and crown is discontinued by Rolex already. But the ref for the gasket of the 24-7000 tube is 29-06000. and looks like the gasket for the 24-700 crown is 29-0700. I don't know where else to get it than Rolex service center.
But the dimensions of the 29-0600 gasket is 1.75mm inner diameter and 0.8mm thickness if you want to source it from somewhere else than Rolex. |

in the pics, it seems that there're 2 gaskets in the 24-7000 tube ? A 29-06000 and a 29-06011 ? I thougt it was only 1 gasket in 24-700 crown and 1 in 24-7000 tube....

genuine Rolex gaskets ordered yesterday night from http://www.scotchwatch.com/ the only website who got all refs 29-06000 / 29-06011 and 29-0700. Very quick answer from Blake, and shipped straight away... I'll let you know when recieved and when I'll bring my 24-700 crown and tube and gaskets to my watchmaker for a back to 1967 crown on my 5513 :)

So where do the two gaskets sit on the tube? ( I have the same watch and it recently failed a pressure test because the previous watchmaker had used the wrong gaskets).

don't know, I gave the gaskets to my watchmaker and he did the job, with successful waterproof test, not dive test, not on a 50 years old watch...

Nice. Glad you corrected the RSC 'upgrade'.
I refused to fork over my 25 yr old datejust to them. I did not want a new looking watch back. |
