5164 on leather

I think the grey strap works well just wanted to read some of the people's opinions since, lots of people complain about non OEM straps don't hug the lugs of the case but I think it gives it a different look to the traditional rubber strap. I am at NY currently and as soon as I get back home I'll probably get another strap for the watch.

Next to some Pams

Previously was on a nato strap

The nato looks awesome on this model, even better than the original rubber strap. Makes me want one now

Looks great. But for me, the rubber is why I own the aquanaunt

I like the leather; I'm not big on the NATO.

I really like the leather strap Gus put on his 5167.

I like the leather on your 5164 as well. But, as was posted earlier, one of the reasons I went with the 5164 to begin with was for the tropical strap. Thanks for showing us other sides of the 5164!

Honestly neither of them float my boat. I am just being honest and realize my opinion of 1.

I think the whole brilliant concept of the Aquanaut is the elegant fit between the dial and the tropical strap.

The concept falls flat in the above strap experiments IMO.

I actually love the 5164 with that Etoupe Hermes strap. Curious - will Hermes sell you that Cape Cod buckle with the strap?

I am another fan of the tropical strap and wouldn't change my 5167 as I love the look and versatility of the rubber strap, however I think the 5164 looks great on the leather strap. Very cool watch.

Dunno about the cape cod buckle paid $135 for the standard buckle.

When you say "standard", do you mean the one in the photo?

Thanks for the clarification! Seems like their standard buckle is the "cape cod" style then.

I REALLY like the Tan strap. It's the way to go imo if opting out of the standard rubber which is excellent.

Grey dials take brown, black and grey straps well, had a Chopard that I put lots of different straps on.

I'm a big fan of both the gray & tan leather, not so much the NATO. I was looking at similar custom straps at Camille Fournet for my 5167.

Would be great to see some more wristshots with the tan strap

Guys, what is the lug width on the 5164? I think the strap from the grey side of the moon would look fantastic on it, if it fits.

My 5167 is 21mm...I'd guess the 5164 is the same

Yes both 5167 and 5164 are 21mm, as is the DSOM/GSOM. Would like to see this combo also !

I keep contemplating leather for my 5167. Just to be clear, you are using aftermarket straight spring bars?

Thanks
