Hi Guys,

never been in the Omega section before, so hello everyone. Quick question for the local pros. Has the 3570.50 been discontinued, and if so when?

many thanks fellas

Yes it's been discontinued. Replaced with a new reference:

311.30.42.30.01.005

Same watch but now comes in a commemorative box celebrating the Moonwatch history with extra NATO strap, spring bar tool, loupe, and Speedmaster medallion. Quite a nice presentation. I own both and don't really care for the bigger box and additional goodies but won't deny it changes the presentation greatly.

When Omega announced the change, my favorite dealer bought up all of the 3570.50s he could find in the dealer network. Last I heard he still had a few at his old discount.

And AFAIK, the latest version of the bracelet which uses screws instead of the classic pins.

The 3570 replacement, the 311.30.42.30.01.005 has a Hesalite crystal.

I just bought one a month ago from DavidSW.

311.30.42.30.01.006 is the sapphire version.

New one is still hesalite. As mentioned, only differences are new box with accessories, and screw links on the bracelet.
