5513 Lume Advice Needed.
A bit of lume has dropped off the hour hand on my '67 Sub.
What is the best course of action? Any advice gratefully received. |

A good watchmaker can reattach the peice that fell out and stabilize the hands. My advice is do it soon so that the peice doesn't begin to chip.

I would immediately contact a good vintage watchmaker/restorer, perhaps ABC, which does a lot of work on hands, or Bob Ridley. And definitely don't wear it in the meantime! Good luck!

Well, that sucks! As noted, it can most likely be reattached and stabilized in place.
Trick will be getting into the hands of said watchmaker without further damage/degradation of that floating piece or the rest of the watch. Maybe prior to shipping you get a local watchmaker to open it up and ever so gently place that little piece into a separate Baggie? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
