Decisions Deisions...From the Yellow Sub, to the Smurf and now to this...

I just need to know if the Rose Gold is more for women, or can a Man rock it...?

Lol I just lke the way the Daytona Felt. It was really comfortable. I almost pulled the trigger on the smurf, then the YG Sub.

So My dilemma. Do i get the Rose Gold Sub or similar I really like the dial offerings on the PM Daytona.

or

Keep the SD4k and add 116520 and change the dial?

Sam, do you have a wife or g/f that you can confide in and help you make a decision picking a watch? I see every time you start a thread you seem to be unsure in which direction to go! You have to wear the watch, not us so unfortunately I am going to not give you an answer. Buy the watch that really sings to you. If you can't decide.........uh?

No. Don't go there- rose gold is for everybody. It's a unisex watch. If wearing a RG Daytona is girly, then who wants to wear a man's watch? It's a gorgeous watch, it's comfortable, what more do you need? Other than a hefty discount....

I like RG very much, especially the on Sky-Dwellers, DD40s, APs, but for some reason not on the Daytona. Like all the other PM Daytona watches though.

I think it looks great. Awesome choice. Besides chicks shouldn't wear a Daytona anyway.

I think rose gold is fine, last I checked virtually every watchmaker is offering men's watches in rose gold. Go with what sings to you, don't over analyze.

Rose gold looks great on your skin tone.

My best suggestion,........pull back for awhile. You are close to picking one of several very different watches. Perhaps a walk away breather time is in order??

Sam, you are certainly stumped! I think you need to just go with what you like. It is evident that the Daytona is the one that interests you the most. Who cares what others thinks, it's yours and it really does look good on you in these pictures. The other choices can wait and I am sure they will be next on your list at some point in your life. I just picked up the smurf and month ago and love it, but I am still looking for another PM to add at one point....what I am saying is even after you get the RG Daytona , you will still want and crave a yellow or white gold.

You've got green veins, so a "warm" skin tone. Rose or yellow gold would look fine.

Regarding your dilemma, you can't go wrong with your gut - whichever grabbed your attention most is the one to go with.

Obviously I like gold and I think RG may be my fave as it has a more modern and luxurious yet subtle look than YG. And ofc most newer sports AP and PPs are made with RG.

I'm a big fan of rose gold. Actually I'm a big fan of copper, but it does tend to tarnish...

I just can't really wear it with my skin tone (or lack thereof). Even yellow gold doesn't look very good on me.

I'm all Caucasian.

But if I could wear it, I'd be even more poor than I am now!

I tried on the RG Daytona, BLRO and SMURF and played with them for a while at my AD. It was just not close for me in terms of sharpness, comfort (glidelock) and wrist presence. At the end, my wife and I along with my 2 kids all agreed on the 116618LB. Still, your skin tone and comfort level with wearing an eye catching piece are also important considerations.

I agree take some time to think about it. You do not want to spend over $30,000 on an impulse buy!

I would not recommend doing the 116520 and changing the dial. I did that for a period of time, and while I loved the panda dial, the watch didn't feel right to me.

My favorite PM pieces right now are the 116619 and the rose gold Daytona.

RG does look good on you! Saw you put a white gold Daytona add on your message as well, that racing dial is my favorite among the Daytona line!

RG quickly becoming played out, especially with brown dials. Way too trendy. You're kicking back on Santa Cruz? Rock the yellow gold sub for the next 20 years and you'll be happy.

Gold is gold. And rose gold is gold.
Depends on your skin tone. Some looks better with rose or gold.

Everyone here will have their own opinion but I'd hold off on buying until there's a clear winner for you. All great options to have.
