How Many Have A Designated NATO Watch

Hello TRF Members

How many of you have that one vintage sports diver that is the designated "NATO watch"?

Mine is a my head only Tudor Snowflake 94010.

I have a few nice pieces, but I will admit that my "NATO watch" gets a lot of wrist time...mainly because periodically changing the look prevents me from getting tired of it.

Today I was about to put it back in the watch box and pull out my other watches but I saw the bag of NATOs and made a quick swap and put it back on my wrist:)

I wore this watch to the new avengers movie but was using a comic book NATO strap. After the movie I swapped to a black nylon NATO and today I am using a classier canvas NATO.

I look fwd to your posts!

My sub is often on NATO but I do mix it up occasionally with leather or the original oyster. My designated NATO only watch is my Seiko Monster...never even sized the bracelet!
And because every thread needs pictures:

Well, since this has welded bars and will only accept a NATO/Zulu......I guess you could say it is a designated NATO watch.

(But yes....I do have a couple that I only wear on NATOs)

My Tudor Ranger is NATO only for now...until I saw Adam's bund strap find in Germany. I had to order one so it will not be NATO only for long.

BBN is definitely a designated nato watch for me. Love it on fabric.. much more than leather or the bracelet.

All of them. I have a drawer full of bracelets that go unused. Love leather and NATO, so comfortable. :)

...as seen somewhere on the internet...disgusting!

Never tried nato. I fear it's not me and prefer leather.

All of them. they all go on NATOs probably 80% of the time, steep the other 20

Some of the NATO time is on leather

I have all of my 'military' Subs on NATOs. The middle Tudor Snowflake 94010 has never had a metal strap on it ,and of course the one far right can only ever have a NATO strap.

Cheers,
Buster

I found this NATO the best combination for my DRSD. The Red piping really picks up the Red Dial lettering.

Would be rude not to :

I have a few of the original UK MOD spec straps, which are a couple of mm narrower than we would now think to be the correct width for the lugs.

Epic Milsub, Milton.

When I first got my 5513, I had it on a NATO for a few weeks. On reflection, I thought "this is just a wannabe Milsub", and humbly put the Oyster back on. One day, though...

Very bold choice of NATO straps, eco8gator. More power to you.

Haywood, that Milsub is sublime.

My modest contribution:

Great thread!

I like to keep my 16570 on a nato and my 16600 on the bracelet. I've been wearing the 16570 far more than the Dweller lately. Loooooove the Nato's!
