Deep Sea Lume - Wow

I picked up my new DeepSea today. I am a Daytona and ROO owner and I see them getting very little wrist time, this is one heck of a watch. Now to get back to the subject title! On entering a dark hallway from a sunny terrace the lume absolutely glows. I shall try and grab a photograph of it tomorrow, and if anyone has one on file feel free to add it to this thread.

Congrats on the DSSD!
So much to love about it, such as the domed crystal, Glidelock, etc

Compared with a Daytona and ROO, the DSSD lume is pretty good
But compared with a Planet Ocean or Panerai, not so much

Still, the DSSD does OK through the night
Lume is a bit better on a GMT or Sub, though, because the crystals aren't as thick

Beautiful watch. I always wonder why Rolex doesn't improve the lume on their watches.

It's hard to make good comparison pictures, but the Pelagos is one of the best lumed watches out there!

It does seem Tudors have much better lume.

Great Lume shots, I shall post one tomorrow. To me the luminosity in these pics shows Rolex has done a great job in choosing a very stylish shade, and an amount of glow that suits the brand well.

It's a feature and point of distinction of the brand

It would be nice, but it's better than any other watch I've had including the famed Seiko divers and my Omega.

I hope you realise that by moving your bezel from within a cat's whisker of the permanent alignment point 12 O'clock marker your watch will self destruct.

I put a post up a few months ago about the lume on my dssd and was wondering if it was faulty as my sub-c and planet ocean out glowed it by double .... I found it to be very poor considering the watch should stay quite visible at depth...

Now my new Tudor BBR on the other hand... This little sucker is a light magnet and if the sun ever burns out we will be getting all our renewable solar feeds from black bay and Pelegos owners all over the world
Yes folks be nice to us Tudor wearers as you may come to depend on us for your life.

Ok maybe a mild exaggeration but it's pretty bright lol!

Here's my DSSD but it doesn't stand up to some. The Pelagos is next level in terms of lume. Probably with the added bezel lume.
