It's nearly directly opposite to RSC Melbourne (70 Collins St.)

Any discounts offered?

Monards is no longer an authorised AD so I guess they can sell for whatever they like. Anyway most AD's always put a premium on the Daytona.

I see a lot of auctions on e-bay where the GV is not selling for around US$9,000 and so this is good for buyers that possibly the hype is not sustaining the price of this model.

Mattyo,

Did they have any SS GMTIIc watches in stock? Any clues on RRP?

New AD in Melbourne

I must go into the city and check the new AD out.

I was in Auckland recently and bought a black faced Milgauss from Partridges in Newtown.

I was told by the gorgeous store manager there, Christine, that the new AD in Melbourne (Grima?), previously owned the NZ outlet her store operated out of.

Anyway, it's good to see another outlet in Melbourne!

Kind regards

Chris in Melbourne

Hmmm, that must be the AD JJ has always been talking about... I should have checked out Partridges instead of Mansors...
Gotta work on my next NZ biz trip

BTW Congrats Chris. Looks like you score something everytime you get away from Melbourne! Good discounts for that millie?

Good one, Chris. I'm glad you got such good service from Partridge. Yes, Christine's a wonderful manager there. I still wish you had contacted me on your recent trip. It would have been a pleasure to meet you and your better half, as well as accompany you on your trip to the AD.

JJ

Dropped in to the store today. A few observations.

Staff were pleasant, polite and accomodating

The entire Yachtmaster and Daytona range on display (I didn't check a catalogue to confirm this, but there were lots)

No DSSD or SD, no Milgauss GV (but they might be able to get one from "over the road")

Let me try a black Milgauss that was being held for another customer - I thought I would prefer it over the white I also tried on, but not so - the white face was SENSATIONAL

As I was leaving they said "see you again" - what are these guys, mind readers?

Yes, I will be back

Didn't ask for prices, though

Monards is a Grey Dealer, but most of their pricing is better than an AD.

And they discount!!!!!!
